What NPFL Clubs should learn Vandrezzer FC Visionary plans of Academy Football in Nigeria: inaugurates first U17 boys

 


Vandrezzer FC which is considered by some pundits as the most structurally organized team in the Nigeria Leagues, it's organization is mirrored from best European practices.

With the difficult football environment in Nigeria, which is impending the visionary of club to develop beyond limitations, the lion of Naija is still roaring loud in the country. 

According to it's media released on its official website, Vandrezzer Academy has officially welcome its first set of players on Thursday July 28, 2022 at the Vandrezzer FC base in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.

The ceremony was to be overseen by VFC Technical Director Jonathan Pepper, witnessed junior contract signing with the young players, who were accompanied and presented by their parents/guardians. 

A total of nineteen players aged 17 and below, make up the ‘Fearless Pride’ Class Of 2022. 

Considered the future of the Lagos based club, the young talents would be carefully groomed into modern day complete footballers, in line with Vandrezzer Football Playing Philosophy, delivered in different methodologies according to their ages, using the best of scientific and global football standards.

According to statement Vandrezzee FC U-17 Academy officially opened in January 2022, with a screening process that saw over 130 players brought from different parts of Akwa Ibom state (cultural home) and its environs. 

The Fearless Pride are the third cadre of the the VFC family joining the senior team (Lions of Naija) who campaign in the Nigeria National League; and development squad (U-23), which competed in the last year’s Nationwide League One season.
