Transfer: Inter Milan Intensify interest in Nigeria-eligible Udinese Defender

 


As clubs are busy in the transfer market this summer, Inter Milan are no exception of that. The 2020/22 Serie A winners are in the hunt for a defender at the left back. 

The Milano side have navigated it radar to fellow Serie A side Udinese to acquire it's promising Nigerian left back Udogie

Inter Milan is believed to face strong competition strong and deep pocket Serie A giant if the defender will be available in the transfer window. 

The Nerazzurri are monitoring the Udinese Star and are considering making a move

Per reports, Inter Milan have set their sights on Destiny Udogie who has been valued by the Friuli at €20million.

Inter Milan Chairman Steven Zhang is believed to have met the Nigerian/Italian U21 player and his representatives last week as they look to make a move.

Some of Udogie’s suitors have also been mentioned as Juventus but the club is unwilling to let him go and hope to keep him for another season at the club.

Destiny Udogie had a wonderful and brilliant season last term and turned on potential suitors to possibility of his availability.

The 20-year-old wingback is looking to settle his international and club future after he was recently snubbed by the Italian national team coach, Roberto Mancini despite his brilliant season.

He’s highly-rated and in Italian football and considers Udine home at the moment but isn’t unwilling to make a move.

Inter Milan are looking to wrestle their Serie A title back from AC Milan, and are also looking to sign younger players for the future.
