"Eh Wheeh!" Arsenal Ready to Break the Bank for Hot Cake Victor Osimhen

It seems the transfer window at this early stage is the shopping first for top strikers by EPL giants. Man City and Liverpool have been vindicated by the acquisition of Haaland and the latter Nunez.

For Tottenham they already have Harry Kane, it is now left for Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea to do the hunting for theirs.

Chelsea are set to let go of Lukaku, who's mind is in Inter already, while Manchester United are in deficit of an additional striker, who would compliment Ronaldo upfront, as Cavani will not play next season.

Arsenal are currently without a proven no.9 to replace Lacazette or Aubameyang.

Magical Osimhen Draws Attention and Interest

Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen has been in the news lately and for all the right reasons, the latest coming from England, where it is being reported that Arsenal are ready to break the bank for his services at the Emirates.

Last season, the Napoli man netted 14 goals in the Serie A, helped the Italian side secure a top three finish.

Napoli also earned an automatic ticket for the UEFA Champions League next season, but there’s more to Osimhen’s game that has spurred Arsenal’s renewed interest in him.

In the last international window of the season, Osimhen netted four times and provided two assists to help Nigeria to an emphatic 10-0 win over minnows Säo Tomé & Principé in the AFCON qualifiers.

The Forward’s heroics in that encounter put on display his determination, eye for goals and threat inside the box, something Mikel Arteta is in dire need of next season – and beyond – if they must close the gap with the top sides in the Premier League.

In a report, Thursday, The Sun, stated that Arsenal are now convinced of matching Napoli’s valuation of the Player or at least forcing the Club to the negotiation table with an improved bid.

Having earlier had an offer of £57 million rejected in May, Gunners board are now determined to add the Super Eagles striker Osimhen to the four acquisitions already made this season and will prepare a ‘club record offer’ for the 23 year-old Nigerian.

According to Sun, it reports that Arsenal will present an offer of £86 million for the Striker, who still has three years on his deal at Napoli.

An improved offer of £86 million if accepted by Napoli will shatter Arsenal’s previous club record fee (£72m) for, Ivory Coast’s Nicolas Pepe in 2019 from Lille.

Osimhen himself joined Napoli from Lille two years ago for a club record fee of £60 million.

According to Italian media outlet Gazzetta, Victor Osimhen is in “high demand this summer”, with Manchester United also said to have made inquiries for the Player.

Meanwhile, the Gunners are still strong on the heels of Manchester City’s Gabriel Jesus and remain favorites to land the player, but the gunners are also facing strong competition from fellow London rivals Chelsea who are set to release Romelu Lukaku to Inter this summer.
