The Proprietor and Chairman of FC ONE Rockets, Rt. Hon. Otuekong Nse Essien has joined the race into the board of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).
The legislator and administrator picked his form today in Abuja and hopes to bring his experience and passion for football to bare at the national stage.
Having been a lover of the round leather game, Essien Nse has helped many youngsters to achieve their football dreams even before the formation of FC ONE Rockets that have competed in the Nigeria National League (NNL) for two seasons.
Worthy of mention is the fact that Essien also runs Carabana Football Academy, a feeder team for FC ONE Rockets that has produced under 20 star Daga Daniel and other rising stars.
Currently, he is the Chairman of the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly Committee on Youth, Sports and Security.
His heavy financial investments in football where he has over 70 persons on his monthly payroll is a testament to the fact that he will be an added asset to Nigerian football.
The NFF elective congress holds September 30, in Benin City, Edo State.
